This Cannes, the Global Gift Gala returned with the kind of glamour that knows exactly how to make an entrance. Held at La Môme Plage, the 14th edition of the philanthropic gala gathered an international constellation of figures from film, music, fashion and social activism for an evening presented by Rimova Corporation under the leadership of its president, Mauro Monarris.
Led by Eva Longoria, María Bravo and Jacqueline Fernandez, the night unfolded as one of the festival’s most high-profile charity events, blending red-carpet magnetism with a mission rooted in humanitarian impact. Among the guests were Sofía Carson, Brooks Nader, Amaury Nolasco, Renata Notni, Jwana Karim, Lisa Rinna, Sylvie Tellier, Nathalie Rayes and Zazou Belounis, creating a guest list that moved easily between Hollywood, European glamour and global philanthropy.
The evening opened on a lyrical note with a performance by acclaimed opera singer Angélica de la Riva, before actor Alejandro Nones and journalist Sandy Heribert took on hosting duties. Later, French pop sensation Kendji Girac closed the night with an energetic live performance under the Cannes sky, the kind of finale that reminds everyone why the Riviera remains so good at mixing spectacle with sentiment.
Beyond the sequins and seaside setting, the gala carried a clear emotional center. Sofía Carson, actress, singer and UNICEF Ambassador, received the Global Gift Women Empowerment Award in recognition of her humanitarian work and commitment to women and children.
As with every great Cannes gala, the auction brought its own theater. Led by auctioneer Ferxel Fourgon, the charity auction raised support for the Global Gift Foundation’s projects, including Casa Ángeles Marbella and Casa Ángeles Vietnam. Luxury experiences, artworks and lifestyle prizes animated the bidding, including an Ultimate Dubai Suite Experience & Longevity Retreat by Lucía Clinic, with a five-night stay at Atlantis The Royal Dubai.
At its core, however, the gala was less about the spectacle than the lives it aims to touch. Funds raised will support Casa Ángeles Marbella, which provides therapies, emotional support and educational activities for children and young people with special needs, as well as Casa Ángeles Vietnam, which offers protection, food, education, medical care and a home for orphaned and abandoned children.
