Cover featuring Milla Lapidus

Arabian Moda x Milla Lapidus
Milla wears earrings and a necklace by Roberto Coin with a Longchamp full look and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Milla Lapidus is all about presence. Whether in front of the camera or stepping into a role, she brings a directness that cuts through, no overthinking, no hesitation. Actress, model, personality: she shifts fast, adapts easily, and keeps control of her narrative without trying to overdefine it.

On our cover, Fierce, Free, Fearless, she reflects a generation that moves with intention and confidence. Her mindset is clear: own who you are, trust your instincts, and don’t wait for permission.

AM: As an actress and a model, where do you see yourself the most, in front of the camera or within a character?
Milla Lapidus: I am profoundly drawn to the art of embodying characters, whether for cinema or modeling. Through these transformations I discover new facets of myself, about my reactions or my emotions. Immersing myself in the deepest parts of who I am is something that will never stop fascinating me.

AM: What would you tell your younger self?
Milla Lapidus: Learn to know yourself to love yourself. Being yourself is your superpower. You and no one else have the power over your choices and your dreams.

Necklace and rings, Repossi. Dress, Isabel Marant.

AM: Besides your online persona of acting and modeling, is there a hobby that you keep away from social media?
Milla Lapidus: Art, humans, anything that allows for self-expression and the experience of emotion. To discover, to understand, and to relearn again and again.

AM: Arabian Moda often celebrates cultural dualities and cross-border identities. You have a connection to Lebanon through your mother, how has that influenced your life?
Milla Lapidus: I feel more Lebanese than French in a lot of ways, actually. The way I love meeting new people, talking a lot of languages in just one sentence, making my house feel like it is my guests’ house… and of course, without forgetting eating the best food in the world.

AM: You launched your career alongside your sister, though you have different styles. How do you plan on working together in the future?
Milla Lapidus: Imagine working with your best friend every single day, I feel the luckiest for that. I think we will both have separate projects, but we will always make the other feel involved. For example, when she wrote her poetry book, I was the first one to read it on repeat.

AM: Your personal style carries a certain fierce confidence. How would you describe it today, and do you see it reflected in this cover shoot?
Milla Lapidus: For me, self-confidence is something that is never fully acquired or constant. It’s something you work on over time. I believe the most important thing is to be aware of yourself and honest when you’re not feeling okay. Listening to yourself and understanding yourself as much as possible is, in my opinion, the key to feeling confident.

During this shoot, I had fun, and I think that’s what really matters. More than that, I was myself. And I believe that’s the greatest strength of all, being me.

AM: Looking back, what is your proudest career moment?
Milla Lapidus: Waking up every morning and telling myself I’ve never given up, even through the most challenging times. I’ve had doubts, moments of weakness, but I have not surrendered.
