House of Pilati

This festive season, the sparkling emirate of Dubai will witness the gala dinner of House of Pilati featuring x 8th Lining at Cafe Milano on November 17th, 2021.

House of Pilati, founded by Patrick Pilati, is a European and Middle Eastern label specialized in creating limited-edition items in partnership with some of the most extravagant brands in the luxury industry. This month, the exclusive and collectable pieces of dinner jackets produced with 8th Lining, the Dubai based house of premium bespoke suits, will be auctioned off during the red carpet gala at Café Milano.

The fashion masterpieces are jackets adorned with gemstones of black and blue diamonds, 24-carat gold buttons with mother of pearl finishings and gold thread, all handmade with the finest Italian fabrics.

Cafe Milano is the place of choice for the highly-awaited event, and the auction for the Spirit of Arabia menswear collection by House of Pilati x 8th Lining. Amongst the expected attendees are high profile personalities, royals, ambassadors, presidents of Fortune 500 companies, and top government officials who will have the opportunity to bid on the unique items for humanitarian aid.

Patrick Pilati, founder and curator of House of Pilati, said: “This is a collection that creates a new bench market in the luxury market but is also providing social empowerment to low-income families in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Sixty per cent of the income that House of Pilati generates from this collection is donated to scholarship programmes.” Tarek Alhussayni, 8th Lining’s founder, added: “We are excited to partner with House of Pilati to present a one of a kind collection of our suits, complimenting Pilati's unique style, in an iconic Washington DC establishment, Cafe Milano.”

The event will unveil another House of Pilati creation, a limited-edition two-seater car, the Aero 3 supercar, which is a modified Ferrari F12 that features a rear-wheel drive, seven-speed electrocuted sequential gearbox with paddle-shift control and automatic mode, hand-built by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera in Milan. Its lavish interior of hand-dyed crocodile leather in ivory white with gold thread stitching is the cherry on top.

This creation will also be auctioned during the gala and via House of Pilati’s Non-Fungible Token Marketplace.
