Hotel La Clef Tour Eiffel - As Parisian As It Gets!

Hotel La Clef Tour Eiffel
Spacious, luminous and discreetly luxurious, La Clef Tour Eiffel Hotel is the Parisian home away from home we all seek.

Ideally located in the oh so chic 16th arrondissement of Paris - a few steps away from two iconic venues, the vibrant Champs-Élysées and the dreamy Trocadéro square - this property merges modern architecture with picturesque Haussmannian style.

We sat down with Residence Manager Enrika TABBONE who told us all about her hotel.

AM: Enrika, in your opinion, what makes this particular hotel from the Ascott group so different?
I would say our space, something that is quite scarce here in Paris. We not only offer rooms, but also studios and apartments. For instance our standard room measures 27cm.

We are ranked as a five-star hotel yet it feels like an intimate residence for our guests. For example, from the very beginning you can only access the portal of the building with your own key. We are not open for the general public as the facilities are reserved for our clients only.

Our guests stay at La Clef Tour Eiffel to relax and not show off. It’s probably why some celebrities come here to keep it low key and avoid the general public.

Our lobby also feels like an extension of the guest rooms, a place to finish up on your work or just enjoy our daily tea-time. Many of our clients have consequently transformed their business trips into family holidays. It’s also the ideal place for individuals who are relocating or even testing life in Paris.

AM: Please tell us more about some of your services
Besides offering all sorts of rooms, apartments and studios we have a gym, a hammam, and soon a team of experts for beauty and health.

There are so many restaurants in our neighborhood that serve our clients, knowing that the guests have their own fridge and kitchen equipment in their rooms. Since our district is very residential we have some of the best sellers of cheese, wine, and pastries.

AM: And how would you describe your relationship with your loyal and long-stay clients?
Our staff has been here since the beginning of the hotel’s opening. They are accustomed to the preferences and demands of the clients who spend their yearly vacations here. We like to keep in touch with them during special holidays or just send them surprise messages and greetings.

For Christmas we install trees in their apartments, we can also shop for their groceries in advance. A welcome basket of local products from France, adapted to their cultural preferences, will await them as well.

AM: What would you say are the advantages of being part of the renowned Ascott group?
Belonging to an established group with a solid base in Asia Pacific attracts an international clientele and gives a form of reassurance to the guests. They know what to expect and the caliber of our services.

AM: On a personal level, how challenging is it to manage a five-star hotel?
When you like what you do it’s not so difficult, especially that I have a very supportive and knowledgeable team. Seeing and meeting our satisfied clients is very pleasant.

AM: Finally, tell us about some memorable events that took place at your hotel
It has to be when a Lebanese family with a pregnant woman urgently called the reception and a few minutes later the lady gave birth in the ambulance car just in front of the hotel. So now they came on a yearly basis as a form of celebrating this happy memory.

Another American family always rents out the Eiffel Tower Suite on the 14th of July to enjoy watching the fireworks with their beloved grandson.
