A dear friend of the master couturier, often considered as his female version, the exhibition displays personal pieces of muse Betty Catroux designed by the French icon YSL. Personally selected by the creative director of the maison, Anthony Vaccarello, the Catroux belongings portray her influences on the brand’s haute couture era.
The collection, donated by Betty Catroux herself to the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent, is the largest ever received to this date.
