Egyptian and international cinema enthusiasts have a place to be this season. Till the end of July 2019, the Cinémathèque Française in Paris is hosting the exhibition Youssef Chahine.
Chahine, who launched his career in the 1950s and contributed to the golden era of Arab cinema, has an entire floor dedicated to watching numerous clips from his timeless movies. The exhibition is a sentimental journey and homage to one of the few directors who brought Arab cinema closer to the caliber of Hollywood productions.
A highly recommended lively visit that allows you to discover the world of the iconic director through his film costumes, personal memorabilia, notes and life achievements.
