The creative director, Niall Sloan, was inspired by Hollywood royalty and timeless beauty, actress Hedy Lamarr. Hedy, who is often known for her on screen roles practiced a much more intellectual one behind the scenes. She was passionate about technology, and all the facets of her not-so-cliché personas are interpreted in the new Escada.
Beauty and brains fascinated the creative director about this season’s muse: “What I love about Hedy is that, within one person, you find the epitome of glamour and also this incredible mind,” commented Sloan.
Very modern and fashion forward looks, graphic prints, and the signature brand floral patterns celebrated the 40th anniversary of a maison which is witnessing a rebirth.
