It was a sizzling summer day when we rushed into the Maison de la Radio France with our ticket for a theatrical piece known as the Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture show.
Neutral colors of sandy beige and autumn brown were chosen for the key dresses of Fall/Winter 2018. The collection included the Rolland sleek design and tribal silhouettes all interpreting the free movement of the body and textile.
It was not only gowns for winter but also jumpsuits, bomber jackets, scarves, gilet dresses, sweaters and large coats to complement an ensemble worn for a not-so-warm weather.
Leather, suede, wool and cashmere were fabrics omnipresent throughout the show and that adapted to Rolland’s vision… A very wintery collection after all!
