Chanel Fall/Winter 2018 Haute Couture

The ultimate form of celebration and homage to Paris was Karl Lagerfeld’s vision for Fall/Winter 2018. His Haute Couture collection embodied Pairs in all its aspects.

Starting off with décor of the show, the seine quayside as the backdrop with the typical boxed books sellers, inviting attendees to dive into a captivating fashion story.

The very calm and soothing colors of a Parisian autumn dyed the dresses from black and grey to the pale pink and purple of an October sky.

And what is a Chanel collection without tweed? Along with velvet, crêpe, lace and chiffon for a graceful silhouette.

Bustier waistcoats (in braided tweed), long coats, chiffon blouses and sweaters worn with straight or bubble skirts, an evening pyjama, a kimono and that timeless Chanel Black dress swifted across the catwalk.

Chanel sends a loud and clear message, Paris is the eternal home of couture.
