Guo Pei Spring/Summer 2017 Haute Couture

In the past, when people thought of Haute Couture, designers from France and Italy were the first to be thought of. But recently, many designers have proven that Haute Couture talents are also present elsewhere.

Chinese designer Guo Pei is amongst those talents. Her collection was royal by all means.

All the gowns presented in her Spring/Summer 2017 Haute Couture collection, were like a piece of art that invites you to observe it closely and enjoy its craftsmanship. For these pieces were inspired by patterns from ancient manuscripts and cathedrals.

Editor’s note: The experience was surreal especially in a venue as legendary as La Conciergerie.
